This year’s Amazon Prime Day sale has no shortage of gaming PC deals. We’ve listed out every good deal we could find on prebuilt gaming PCs from well-known brands like ASUS, MSI, CyberPowerPC, Skytech, IBUYPOWER, and more. For most PC gamers, buying a prebuilt gaming rig is far more attractive than it used to be. Years ago, it was inarguably cheaper to build your own gaming PC than to buy a boutique gaming rig. That’s not the case anymore. The gaming PCs listed here are already built and packaged and will ship out quickly. They use off-the-shelf components so it should be easier to swap and upgrade components compared to buying from an OEM manufacturer like Dell or HP.
The RTX 4060 is considerably more powerful than the RTX 3060 and almost nearly matches the RTX 3060 Ti. This is going to be the best current-gen GPU you’ll find capable of smooth 1080p gaming in a system that costs (well) under $1,000. The RTX 4060 GPU also supports DLSS 3.0, which gives you a nice performance boost without sacrificing much visual quality.
The RTX 4060 Ti 8GB video card is an even better card for 1080p gaming, and it’s powerful enough to handle 1440p gaming as well. You’ll get a pretty substantial boost in performance over the RTX 4060, especially at higher resolutions. Compared to the previous option, this gaming PC also upgrades the processor from a 13th generation Intel Core i5 to a 14th generation Intel Core i7. That isn’t a huge improvement when it comes to gaming, but this PC will perform better in a general workstation environment, especially if you run programs that can utilize the additional cores.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is about 10% more powerful than the RTX 4070 Ti and approaches the performance of the RTX 4080. This is an outstanding card for 1440p gaming and can comfortably run most in 4K, especially with DLSS enabled. The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER also increases the GDDR6X RAM count to 16GB compared to the 8GB found on the RTX 4060 Ti. That makes it a much better card to use for any app that requires a lot of VRAM, including AI programs like Stable Diffusion.
Prime Day is one of the absolute best times to buy a gaming PC every year. Not only does Amazon drop prices on it’s prebuilt PCs, we also see equally good discounts from manufactures like Dell, Lenovo, and HP around this time.
As to whether you should buy now or wait for Black Friday, it really just depends on what GPU you want in your PC. Overall Prime Day is an excellent time to find a deal on budget gaming PCs, but if you are hoping for a sale on prebuilt rig packed with an RTX 4090, you may want to wait. If the new RTX 5080 GPUs are revealed in the Fall, then Black Friday could see even lower prices.
