More developers have confirmed that they have been told by Warner Bros. Discovery that their games will imminently be delisted from digital storefronts. Soundodger+ and Fist Puncher are both due to vanish, following in the footsteps of puzzle game Small Radios Big Televisions, whose developer announced its imminent delisting earlier this week and released the game for free in response.

It’s disappointing to see beloved games disappearing from digital storefronts, especially for those of us who find joy and connection through gaming. As a VR enthusiast, I’ve felt the sting of losing access to cherished VR experiences. It serves as a reminder of the temporary nature of digital content and the need to appreciate the memories we’ve made in virtual worlds.
During these times, it’s important to rely on our gaming communities for support and to reflect on the positive moments shared in these games. While it’s tough to cope with the sudden loss of a favorite game, the sense of community that gaming creates can help us navigate these challenges together. Let’s continue to celebrate the connections we’ve formed through gaming and anticipate new adventures ahead.

As a dedicated gamer who puts in a lot of time and effort to excel at my favorite games, it’s always disappointing when they suddenly disappear from digital stores. Losing access to the game is one thing, but losing the community and friendships built around it is even harder. When a beloved game was removed in the past, my friends and I found ways to keep the competitive spirit alive. Whether through private matches, LAN parties, or exploring similar games, we held onto the memories and continued our gaming journey together. It’s a reminder that games may come and go, but the connections we make can endure.
