Toby Fox, director of Deltarune, gave fans an update about the game’s fourth and fifth chapters on Undertale‘s ninth anniversary, stating that Chapter 4 is essentially complete, and Chapter 5 is the “main focus” right now. Unlike Toby Fox’s previous work, Deltarune is an episodic RPG that has had its release spread out over the last few years. The first chapter was shadow-dropped in 2018, with its second chapter having a similar surprise release in 2021. Currently, fans are anticipating the release of Deltarune‘s next set of chapters, which are Chapters 3 and 4 at the same time.
