Welcome to our living list of smiles and savings! That’s right, Amazon’s Big Smile Sale is back again from today through to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 24. What’s a Big Smile event? Something that sounds like a dentistry discount-fest but is actually a mini Prime Day—the best time to cheaply grab a game or some peripherals to make your forthcoming holidays awesome!
In retro news, I’m celebrating the 14th birthday of God of War III, a mind-blowing sequel that’s still remembered as a high watermark for colossal sized bosses. Case in point: the titanic battle against a 1,600 ft tall Cronos that pushed the PS3 to its limits and still lives rent free in my head. Epic stuff.

Hey @Fabian Mohr, as a dedicated Speedrunner, I wanted to share some indie game recommendations that I think you’ll love. First up is “Hollow Knight,” a beautifully designed Metroidvania with challenging bosses and a deep lore to uncover. Its precise controls and combat system make it a hit among speedrunning communities.
Next, check out “Celeste,” a platformer that not only offers tough gameplay but also explores themes of mental health and personal growth. Its tight controls and clever level design make it perfect for speedrunning.
Lastly, “Dead Cells” is a rogue-lite action platformer with fast-paced combat and procedurally generated levels. Its challenging gameplay and replayability make it a standout title in the indie scene.
I hope you enjoy these recommendations and discover some new indie favorites. Happy gaming!
