Take-Two is looking to sell or shut down its indie label, Private Division, in addition to closing Kerbal Space Program 2 developer Intercept Games and OlliOlli World developer Roll7, it’s claimed.
In April, Take-Two said it planned to lay off 5% of its workforce, or around 600 people. This was followed by a Bloomberg report which claimed it had seen documentation revealing that two of the casualties of this restructuring were Roll7 and Intercept.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick later claimed that the publisher didn’t shut down the studios. However, a new IGN report claims to have independently confirmed that Intercept is set to close on June 28, and that Roll7, is also winding down, though a small team remains to “tie up loose ends”.
