Unknown Worlds Entertainment, the team behind the Subnautica series, has officially revealed a sequel to the original game, Subnautica 2, which had previously been heavily teased for some time. Subnautica 2‘s teaser trailer premiered at the October 2024 Xbox Partner Showcase, giving fans an idea of what to expect from the sequel. The first two Subnautica indie games are beloved by many, and with Subnautica 2 backed by publisher Krafton, it is expected to be a significant evolution from the already thrilling Subnautica: Below Zero.
