Some Baldurs Gate 3 NPCs are so heinous that players cant help but kill them during every playthrough, but sparing one or a few of them leads to some interesting outcomes. Its a testament to Larian Studios ability to make player choices matter that all of these branching choices are accounted for. It sets Baldurs Gate 3 apart from RPGs like Starfield, which stops players from making certain choices. Even if a choice is evil, Baldurs Gate 3 still fleshes it out and makes the experience rewarding.
