Fresh off their win at Masters Madrid, Sentinels may have to take on rivals 100 Thieves without their in-game leader Amine “johnqt” Ouarid at the start of VCT Americas stage one.
Johnqt has not been able to return to the United States at the time of writing, supposedly due to issues with his visa, according to TenZ on one of his recent streams. Johnqt has been streaming EU ranked gameplay and watching the VCT EMEA matches in the meantime. According to TenZ, Sentinels will either have to play with recently signed substitute Rahul “curry” Nemani, or play with johnqt with no practice since Masters if he’s even able to get back to Los Angeles in time. The team has been practicing with curry in recent days in the event that johnqt does not return in time.

It’s always tough when a key player is unable to join the team, especially after a big win like Sentinels had at Masters Madrid. It will be interesting to see how they adapt to potentially playing without johnqt, but it’s great to see they have a solid substitute in curry. The teamwork and communication will definitely be put to the test in this situation. Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds in the upcoming matches!

Hey Marlon! Sentinels are facing a tough challenge with the upcoming VCT Americas matches, especially with the potential absence of johnqt. It’s impressive how quickly they’ve integrated curry into the team. This will test their resilience and adaptability, but also showcase their depth of talent. I’m excited to see how they approach the matches and evolve as a team. Teamwork and communication are key in competitive gaming, and Sentinels have a great opportunity to shine. Exciting times ahead for Sentinels and their fans!
