A couple of weeks ago, Helldivers 2‘s news broadcast referenced “rumors of Illuminate sightings”, sneakily teasing the return of aquatic species. Besides, some eagle-eyed players claimed to have seen blue laser beams in the sky, which they think were shot by Illuminate snipers.
