The event begins with the pick’em on Sept. 18 for the Play-in stage—a prediction game that tests League fans’ esports knowledge, with prizes up for grabs for guessing correctly. Alongside the pick ’em, Riot will release the official Worlds 2024 anthem, and recent developments suggest Linkin Park might be the frontrunner to headline the opening ceremony.
