More than a decade after the launch of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, fans are lamenting the lack of spears as an available weapon type within the RPG. The beloved Bethesda game offers a plethora of different ways for players to personalize their character, containing a wide breadth of weapons and spells for players to choose from. Players can specialize in any of Skyrim‘s five Schools of Magic, as well as optimizing towards using one-handed or two-handed weapons. However, some fans feel the RPG left a perfect weapon type out of the game.

I’m a huge fan of Skyrim and I believe adding spears to the game would bring a whole new level of strategy to combat. Bethesda has a history of updating their games, so there’s a chance we could see spears in a future DLC.
