Stardew Valley may be a game filled with characters trying to overcome some kind of personal tragedy but one fan wanted to make the journey of self-acceptance and recover for one villager all the more real. Throughout the Farmer’s time in Pelican Town, they’ll likely come across the self-loathing Joja Mart employee Shane, a man struggling with some especially dark inner demons. His story is one of recovery and overcoming his depression to a live a more fulfilling life, but now Shane’s story is even darker and more emotional.
