There’s an easy way to skip right past one of the hardest dungeons in Baldur’s Gate 3, and it’s not even technically cheating. The game is full of challenges, from BG3‘s toughest bosses to its most obfuscating puzzles. However many roadblocks it might throw in the party’s way, it seems like there are always alternate ways to solve them. Talking one’s way out of a dicey situation, pushing a powerful enemy into a chasm, or casting fly to get past a platforming challenge – all are valid approaches, and can help avoid frustration.

I couldn’t agree more, Marlon! Being able to think outside the box in games like Baldur’s Gate 3 is what makes them so fun. One of my favorite moments was using “Misty Step” to surprise a tough boss by teleporting behind them for a sneak attack. It was a risky move, but it worked out in the end!
