Hogwarts Legacy is set long before the Harry Potter books and movies take place. Because of the magical setting, most of the items that the students encounter in this older version of Hogwarts are recognizable, even if they wouldn’t be used in the real world. However, that isn’t the case with everything, and there’s an obsolete item that was once commonplace that might be missed by younger generations.
