In response to recent rumors, development studio Video Games Deluxe has clarified that it is not working on a spiritual successor to LA Noire, and the source of the speculation was merely a misunderstanding regarding commissioned music for a now defunct project. LA Noire fans were disheartened by the news that something in the style of the hit detective game was not in the works, though VGD has stated it is working on something else.
