Helldivers 2 is set to receive its largest content update yet, dubbed Escalation of Freedom, but I’m concerned about what’s been revealed so far and what it means for the continued evolution of the Automaton enemy faction. The new update is scheduled for August 6, and while plenty of new Escalation of Freedom additions have been revealed, developer Arrowhead Game Studios assures players there are surprises on the way as well. What has been announced, however, showcases a worrying skew catering to the Terminid front of the Second Galactic War.
