I enjoy almost every aspect of Dragon’s Dogma 2, except that one point where a Griffin kept flying away as I tried to kill it because my strikes were too slow. I did manage to bring the creature down, eventually. Along the way, I learned a better way to prevent Griffins from flying away in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Sometimes the Griffin would come back healed up, other times it would appear with the same health but angrier. After that, I became its rag doll. To avoid all that, you can’t face the Griffin head-on, or at least that’s what I felt I couldn’t do. But I think I found a consistent way to keep this creature from leaving. First, I would suggest you either find a stronger weapon based on your class or buy from any major city or town.
