The Secret Garden Puzzle is one of the harder ones in Blue Prince, but doing so will bring you one step closer to reaching Room No. 46.

There are several aspects to solving this puzzle, which begins with gaining the Secret Garden Key. The location of this key, similar to almost every item inside the game, is random. There isn’t even a guarantee that it will spawn on your run. This guide will provide you with all the necessary steps that will allow you to access the Secret Garden Puzzle.

The first step is to get the key, which can appear in one of the following rooms.

• Billiards Room: A potential reward if you manage to solve the Billiards/Darts Puzzle.
• Locksmith: You could end up with the Secret Garden Key by purchasing the Special Key option (depends on luck).
• Music Room: The key appears as a random reward in this room.

The key is also known to appear in trunks and chests found in dirt piles. However, the odds of it appearing from this source are the lowest, so it’s better to rely on one of the methods listed above.

The next step in solving the puzzle is to find the room.

• You’ll have to look for a locked door that will allow you to use a key.
• To find the door, you’ll have to be in a room that either leads you to the furthest west or the furthest east. Until you reach the door, keep drafting rooms.
• If you’re in the extreme columns, keep drafting the north as many rooms as possible.
• If you’re in the middle, either go west or east and repeat step 3.

Once you find a locked door, you’ll get the option to use a key. Opt for the Special Key option, and use the Secret Garden Key from your inventory. This will open the door to the Secret Garden.

• Rotate both valves till the second and third arrows are facing towards the western direction.
• Once step one is complete, the statuette will move, and a lever will be revealed.
• Pull the lever, and you’ll gain access to the western Antechamber door.

Once you solve the puzzle, it will remain solved for all future runs. However, you’ll have to pull the lever each time to open the Antechamber door.
