This exciting prospect came into reality following the partnership of Amazon and Microsoft with Xbox. With the new collaboration, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in over 25 countries can play games directly from the Xbox app on select Fire TV devices via cloud gaming.
Prerequisite: Fire TV Stick 4K Max (latest model) or a Fire TV Stick 4K (latest model)
Steps:
- Install the Xbox app through the Amazon app store.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate if you haven’t.
- Go to ‘Settings’.
- Click on “Controllers and Bluetooth” submenu to pair a wireless Bluetooth controller to the TV.
Compatible controllers include the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, Sony controller, PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller, or DualShock 4 controller. The subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is $16.99 per month. You can check out Fortnite without a membership.
