During Fortnite’s The Baron’s Big Deal quest series in Chapter Six, Season Two, you need to locate Daigo’s secret underground workshop to learn more about his plans with the Baron. This location is decent tricky to pinpoint, so you may need some help finding it.
The Mask Workshop isn’t a Landmark or main POI, so it’s not marked on the map. It’s part of a larger location and is intentionally hidden underground, so it’s not meant to be easy to find. If you’re having trouble tracking this spot down, here’s how to find the Mask Workshop in Fortnite.
Screenshot by Destructoid Daigo’s underground hidden workshop is located in the eastern and western part of Masked Meadows underneath the Mask Shop at this location. It’s in the sewer system underneath this area, but it’s not attached to the main sewer system that runs underneath the rest of this location.
In Chapter Six, Season One, you could access Daigo’s Mask Workshop from anywhere in the sewer system, which means it could be accessed from pretty much anywhere around Masked Meadows. It’s a lot trickier to find in Chapter Six, Season Two, since the spawn location for Scorpion and his First Blood Medallion blocked it off from the rest of the sewer.
There’s only one entrance and exit for the Mask Workshop now, so you have to look at precisely the right spot to find it. If you’re having trouble tracking this location down, here are the exact steps to follow to find it.
- Travel to Masked Meadows.
- Locate and enter the Mask Shop near the north end of this area.
- Find the stairs leading down in the shop.
- Head downstairs.
- When you reach the next floor down, turn around to find a second staircase.
- Continue down the stairs to go further underground.
- Jump down the next few levels.
- When you can’t go down any further, enter the sewer.
- Follow the sewer until you reach an open space, which is the Mask Wokshop.
Screenshot by Destructoid You can also just closely follow the purple smoke surrounding the Mask Shop to find the hidden underground area. There’s lots of it, though, so it can be tough to track. The easiest way to find what you’re looking for is by entering from the staircase beneath the shop.
To finish the investigate the Mask Workshop task that’s part of the Wanted: Baron quest series, you need to find three clues around the Mask Shop and the hidden Mask Workshop. All three clues appear as sparkling spots around these two areas.
- The first sparkling spot is right by the staircase that leads down to the lower level in the Mask Shop.
- The second sparkling spot is on top of the machine inside the underground Mask Workshop. This is the same machine that’s billowing purple smoke around the area.
- The third sparkling spot is on top of a long wooden crate in the Mask Workshop.
