Fortnite’s Mortal Kombat collaboration is back with another set of quests. Balance of Power mainly focuses on using Scorpion and Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits to eliminate and outlast your opponents. You’ll also explore various unnamed regions, including Shogun X’s arena. Here’s a complete walkthrough of Fortnite’s Balance of Power quests.

Description
Hit an opponent with an entire combo using a Kombat Kit
Use either Sub-Zero’s or
Scorpion’s Kombat Kits to damage NPCs or players. You’ll need to rapidly attack them multiple times to initiate the kit’s entire combo.
Land at the Living Forest at the start of a match
The Living Forest is an unnamed spot in the center of Flooded Frogs, Whiffy Wharf, and Lonewolf Lair. After jumping out of the Battle Bus, glide down to this central area until you land inside a forest full of dark, gloomy trees.
Eliminate players at Shogun’s Arena (2)
Shogun’s Arena is Chapter 6’s version of Loot Island. Shogun’s Arena spawns after four storm circles. Shogun X appears as a seasonal boss on the island, but your focus is targeting any players who land here.
Outlast players while carrying a Kombat Kit (100)
After collecting Scorpion’s or Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits, survive as long as possible without dropping them. You can find Scorpion’s and Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits as chest loot, floor drops, and from eliminating players. You’ll need at least two matches to complete this.
Hit an opponent with a Kombat Kit signature move within five seconds of using a Kombat Kit ability
Scorpion’s and Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits have two abilities—a spear and an ice slide, respectively. After hitting an opponent with either of these abilities, use combos to knock out the objective. Make sure to do this within five seconds of using the skill, or else you’ll need to reactivate it and try again.
BRUTALITY – Eliminate an opponent after dealing damage to them with both Kombat Kits
You’ll need Scorpion’s and Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits for this. After collecting both from chests or other players, find any player, give them a hit with both weapons and then defeat them with either the kits or another weapon, depending on your preference.
Each task rewards you with 30,000 XP upon completion, giving you 180,000 if you finish all six. Almost every objective requires acquiring either Scorpion’s or Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kits, with Balance of Power’s Brutality task needing both. While you can find them as chest and floor drops, your best bet is to visit any location where Scorpion can spawn and pick up his Kombat Kit from the ground.
