Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2‘s co-op game mode is divided up into missions, each a unique level set in a particular location and with a particular focus. Played linearly, each mission is like a chapter in Space Marine 2‘s story, focusing on an individual battle in Lieutenant Titus’ military career from beginning to end. Between missions, players have the opportunity to gear up, swap between Space Marine 2‘s six character classes, and perform other acts of character maintenance in the game’s hub area aboard the Battle Barge.
