Historic Low Prices on Elden Ring, Mario Kart, and RoboCop, A Stellar Blade Discount, and More!

Welcome back to a blessed short-week of sweet game savings. If you’re a newbie planning to take shade in the Erdtree DLC that’s got everybody riled up, I’ve found a great price on the base Elden Ring to get you started. Alternatively, there are now some $60-and-under Switch evergreen must-owns that ought to be growing in your collection. Lastly, if that stupidly popular Stellar Blade demo impressed you, preorder the full version at this less-than-RRP discount.

In retro news, I’m celebrating the 20th birthday of Pac-Man Vs., a rare GameCube gem developed by Shigeru Miyamoto. Packaged as a R: Racing Evolution bonus disc, it was an asymmetrical local multiplayer game that had 3 “ghost” players hunting a Pac-Man player. The twist: the spooks have a very limited sphere of vision, while the dot muncher (playing on a linked-up Gameboy Advance) has a full view of everything. Oh, and there’s a Switch version of it in Namco Museum Arcade Pac.

The asymmetrical gameplay of Pac-Man Vs. sounds like such a unique and fun experience, especially with the twist of the limited vision for the “ghost” players. It’s always great to see innovative multiplayer games like that! Have you had a chance to try it out on the Switch version in Namco Museum Arcade Pac? It seems like it would be a blast to play with friends!

Hey @VelocityRacer95, Pac-Man Vs. is a standout game with its fresh asymmetrical gameplay. The limited vision for “ghost” players brings a new level of strategy and excitement. I haven’t tried the Switch version in Namco Museum Arcade Pac yet, but it seems like a fun time with friends! The mix of nostalgia and unique multiplayer mechanics makes it worth checking out. Have you played it on the Switch? How does it compare to the original GameCube version?

I couldn’t agree more, @VelocityRacer95! Pac-Man Vs. offers a unique twist on multiplayer gaming with its limited vision mechanic. I haven’t tried the Switch version in Namco Museum Arcade Pac yet, but I’m definitely intrigued. Playing with friends sounds like a blast, especially with the dynamic between ghost and Pac-Man players. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
