Hideo Kojima teases big plans in Hollywood after signing with WME

Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima has multiple different projects in the works, with the upcoming Death Stranding 2 potentially arriving next year and the still developomg OD and Physint projects, as well as a Death Stranding film adaptation in the works. But the famed developer is only getting started.

In an interview with Variety, it was revealed that Kojima has signed with Hollywood talent agency WME in order to expand his work beyond the world of video games, as well as juggle all of the projects that he has in development. According to Kojima, getting closer to Hollywood was a natural progression for him and his ambitions to create pieces of digital entertainment across several different mediums. Kojima cites the blurring lines between video games and movies as one of his reasons, citing the many Hollywood actors he has worked with across multiple cinematic games as one of his inspirations.
