Helldivers 2 may be a game about shooting Bugs and Bots with an assortment of deadly firearms but players hoping to charge into the fray with nothing but a melee weapon shouldn’t give up hope just yet. Ever since the incredibly popular sequel in early 2024, the community has begged Arrowhead Studios to include some kind of sword as an unlockable weapon and since the studio hasn’t done so yet, the demands have just grown louder. Fortunately, those diehard saber enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the developers are still looking into the idea.
