The Nintendo Switch may be the only current platform never to receive a port of hit MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 by this point, but director Naoki Yoshida is still reportedly open to the idea of releasing the game on the console’s successor, the Switch 2. While there are no official plans for a Switch 2 port as of now, Yoshida has mentioned that he hopes to bring Final Fantasy 14 to as many platforms as possible, including Nintendo’s, if the opportunity arises.
