Many fans were ecstatic when they discovered Elden Ring‘s latest patch had implemented a dark version of the Bandai Namco logo during the game’s startup sequence. The recent Patch 1.12 included a variety of quality-of-life adjustments to Elden Ring while also adding support for the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. However, one change included in the update also targeted one of the game’s most notorious inconveniences, which has plagued FromSoftware’s open-world action RPG since its 2022 release.
