Dune: Awakening could be one of the biggest releases of 2025, and the upcoming MMO is scheduled for a launch later this summer.
While the beta test is going on as of writing, the full launch has been slightly delayed. The information was shared on X via the game’s official account, which is disappointing if you were excited to enjoy the game in May. This guide will provide you with all the necessary information surrounding the delayed launch, along with a countdown.
Dune: Awakening was originally scheduled to release in the middle of May. The closed beta test also began in April, as per the original plans. The final launch has been pushed back about three weeks. The new release date for the upcoming MMO is June 10.
There’s also a head start available for those who opt for either the Deluxe Edition or the Ultimate Edition. Both editions offer you up to five days of advanced access as the Head Start begins on June 5. Hopefully, there won’t be any further delays before the full release.
Funcom hasn’t announced the exact release time. Typically, they follow simultaneous launches on all platforms. That’s true for all their previous releases, including Conan Exiles. The following times and the countdown are based on the assumption that Funcom will follow the same pattern once again. Once we have confirmation, the updated times will be added to the article.
