Like other games in the Dragon Age series, it is possible for Dragon Age: The Veilguard players to romance their companions. Given the scale of the conflict in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Rook must recruit a few friends and experts from around northern Thedas to aid them in their quest against the blighted gods. This group of seven companions, plus Rook and their advisors, becomes something of a found family over the course of the game.
