Wave-based Infernal Hordes has been one of the best additions to the Blizzard action RPG, with fans clamoring for more of the game mode. The good news is, it’s sticking around: Infernal Hordes is permanent, the developers confirmed today.

Players returning to Diablo 4 for season five were amazed by how much had improved and how good the fresh content was, especially Infernal Hordes. One of the biggest worries post-season launch has been the mode staying around; an unfounded concern, apparently. Adam Fletcher, Diablo’s community director, today reminded fans Infernal Hordes is a permanent feature, so no one needs to worry about it being shelved.
