Arguably the most important new quest in Season 5 of Diablo 4 is “To the Edge of the Abyss,” which is tied to unlocking the Infernal Hordes mode recently added to the game. Infernal Hordes are ways for your character to earn tons of valuable loot by defeating waves of powerful enemies. However, you cannot access this mode for item farming until you complete this seasonal mission.
