Eight months after its launch on Steam in October 2023, Diablo 4 hit a new record for concurrent players. Diablo 4 originally launched on June 5, 2023, and on PC, the game was initially only available to play via Blizzard’s own launcher, Battle.net. Later that year, Blizzard released Diablo 4 on Steam.
