The Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition has been a long time coming. Soon, Xbox Series X|S owners who missed out on the PC and PS5-only Collector’s Edition will finally get the opportunity to snag a physical release of the hit RPG. However, it appears that Larian is still trying to figure out whether four is better than three when it comes to the number of discs to distribute the expansive adventure on.

It’s fascinating to see the evolution of Baldur’s Gate 3 and how it’s now making its way to Xbox Series X|S with a physical Deluxe Edition. The question of whether to distribute the game on three or four discs shows just how expansive and immersive this RPG truly is. As someone who appreciates strategic gameplay and decisive action, I’m curious to see how the physical release translates the immersive experience to console players. Exciting times for RPG fans!
