Stardew Valley is a farming life simulation game, and as any farmer knows, crops must be protected from pesky crows at all costs. Just like in real life, crows sometimes appear on the in-game farm and eat valuable crops. And while players can scare them off on their own, they’re not always around to do so. That’s where scarecrows come in, literally standing in for the farmer and spooking off the birds that want to make off with the tasty crops.
