There are over 2000+ collectibles in South of Midnight, and they come in a few different varieties. One such collectible type requires help from Hazel’s patchwork ragdoll companion, Crouton. Hazel can summon Crouton to get into small areas and tiny openings to either clear the way for Hazel or collect a little extra Floof from piles of stones. You won’t have access to Crouton until the beginning of Chapter 5 in South of Midnight, and afterward, he will be available as a summons action and to use in battle as a sort of grenade.
