Dragon Age: The Veilguard got a little bit of negative press when it was first announced thanks to its new art direction. Whereas the previous games have all been fairly dark and gritty – with each entry getting progressively less gritty – The Veilguard feels more akin to a Disney movie, with every character having smooth-as-butter skin and cartoonish faces. Naturally, those who were expecting something like the original games were a little disappointed and began stating their opinion loudly online.
