Once Human‘s developers are giving players free items as an apology for recent issues they’ve faced during gameplay. Once Human was released in July 2024 and is developed by Starry Studio, which is a subsidiary of NetEase, a gaming company making strides within the live-service gaming world. NetEase has most recently gained attention from Marvel Rivals, an Overwatch competitor. Although Once Human has recently celebrated milestones with item giveaways, it appears that giveaways is also how the developers apologize to fans.
