Konami and FIFA have announced a collaboration which will see the former games rival provide its eFootball game for the FIFAe World Cup eSports tournament.
As part of the initiative, two FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball are scheduled to take place later this year on mobile and console.
FIFA has been without a proper licensed video game since it split from longtime partner EA last year, with FIFA 23 being the last EA Sports game to feature the FIFA branding on the title.
