Markus Persson, the original creator of the hit sandbox game Minecraft, has stated that the game almost didn’t feature a creative mode. After receiving a full release in 2011, Minecraft has gone on to receive critical acclaim and often be referred to as one of the greatest games of all time, but the sandbox game could have looked drastically different had Persson, who is widely known as ‘Notch’, opted not to include its popular creative mode.
