Lunar is making a video game comeback to modern consoles after more than a decade of absence. GungHo Online Entertainment will be in charge of bringing Lunar back via the Lunar Remastered Collection. One of the premier RPGs from the early ’90s, Lunar was one of the first games to utilize the CD-ROM format by using high-quality audio, full motion video, and voice acting to narrate its fantasy story. While some would argue that the entries in the franchise don’t really hold up well to most titles of today, the amount of nostalgia it brings could give modern gamers a chance to experience the great plot that Lunar has.
