Strange Alien Metal (SAM) is a resource in Satisfactory. It is rather rare, but it can be used in high-level recipes. You likely will not be utilizing this ore until a late-game tier of nine or higher. Still, you can store up SAM beforehand and have a large cache ready in the meantime. This will be invaluable when you try to complete Project Assembly during the main story of Satisfactory.
