Amazon Games has revealed the details about the open beta for New World: Aeternum, the console revision of the original, which broke records when it launched in 2021. Being dubbed a spiritual successor of that game, New World: Aeternum will feature the same content, including 2023s Rise of the Angry Earth expansion. But to prepare it for launch on consoles, the developer has overhauled the whole experience, enhanced performance, and introduced a multitude of new content, gameplay mechanics, storylines, and native controller support.
