Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree may have answered many of the community’s lingering questions but players can’t settle on the meaning of one particular visual that debuted before the DLC was even released. Known for its deep world-building, FromSoftware also has a reputation for purposefully obscuring information in its narratives, hiding key details within item descriptions and out-of-the-locations. There’s always plenty to unpack for those fans willing to delve into the weeds but for the average user, much of Elden Ring‘s story is difficult and sometimes impossible to understand.
