When it comes to visceral sci-fi horror, 2022’s underrated gem The Callisto Protocol delivers the scares so those who haven’t yet checked it out better keep an eye on the Epic Games Store this week. Developed by Striking Distance Studios, a development team that consists of several people responsible for the original Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol may not have been imaginative in its design but it delivered on the atmosphere. Starring the likes of Josh Duhamel and Karen Fukuhara, there’s plenty of fun to found in its grimy world.
