Starfield‘s main story can take potentially dozens of hours for a new player to complete. Despite this, Bethesda has suggested that the game does not really start until the main quest is finished. Waiting at the end of the story is a final reward for the player: becoming Starborn. By this point, the player will have already fought many Starborn in their path, so they may wonder what the new role entails.
