Hunt: Showdown has managed to slowly establish a reputation as a pretty fantastic, yet underrated, first-person shooter ever since it launched back in 2018. Earlier this week, the game’s big “1896” relaunch took place, bringing with it a heap of new and returning players excited to see what’s changed and what all the hype is about. Those excited players have contributed towards Hunt: Showdown 1896 reaching a new Steam player count record, but that same popularity is now proving a problem.
