Hi-Fi Rush by developer Tango Gameworks finally ended its Xbox exclusivity after over a year when it was released on PlayStation 5 in March 2024, which led many to believe a Nintendo Switch version was on the way. It seemed like a Switch port was an inevitability, especially with other Xbox exclusives, Grounded and Pentiment, making their way to Nintendo’s platform. However, the dreams of a Switch port were temporarily squashed when Microsoft announced the closure of Tango Gameworks and other Zenimax-owned studios.
