Pulling the right characters is crucial to success in Sword of Convallaria, but more important is investing in them. As they play through the game’s campaign, players receive a pool of generic XP that can be applied to any of their summoned characters at will. This increases their base stats, but must be used in conjunction with other materials to unlock new abilities. Players can also spend badges to upgrade their characters, leveling them up along a branching skill tree.
