Romance in Baldur’s Gate 3 is arguably one of the biggest highlights of the game, but there are still a couple of areas where the concept falls a bit short. Although it’s possible to play through the game without paying much attention to relationships, romantic opportunities with party members tend to present themselves in any campaign, and cultivating those bonds can be a lot of fun. It’s only one feature of many, however, and it stands to reason that romance isn’t fleshed out to a degree that makes it feel truly complete.
