Exotic class items were introduced to Destiny 2 with The Final Shape expansion, and apart from being some of the strongest Exotics in the game, they can also be incredibly hard to get—but upcoming buffs should make them easier to obtain.

In a This Week in Destiny blog post on July 25, Bungie announced buffs to Exotic class items coming to Destiny 2 in early August. The update increases the chances of drops from Overthrow chests. Every Overthrow chest you open in the Pale Heart increases the odds of getting the drop, and higher-tier chests have higher chances.
